Warranty Information

Trust IT warrants for a period of 90 Days “Return to Base” from the date the ex-lease/refurbished equipment is invoiced to you, that the equipment and its components (except for batteries) will be free from any material defect in material or workmanship.


If the equipment fails because of a defect in material or workmanship and you notify Trust IT of the failure during the warranty period, Trust IT will repair the equipment at no cost to you.

In the unlikely event that the equipment is supplied with a fault and/or incorrect specs we require to be notified immediately so we can rectify the issues.

If the equipment cannot be repaired in a cost-effective manner, as determined by Trust IT, then Trust IT will replace the equipment with a substantially comparable item of equipment.

If no comparable equipment is available, Trust IT will refund the full purchase price.

If you refuse Trust IT’s offer to repair or replace the equipment, you will receive a refund of the purchase price less a 15% handling charge.

In order for this warranty to apply, you must contact Trust IT and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA number). It is your organisation’s responsibility to ensure that a receipt from the carrier picking up the equipment is obtained.

If the returned equipment is defective, Trust IT will pay the cost of shipping for sending the equipment back to customer. If the equipment is not defective, or is subject to the following paragraph, you must pay the cost of shipping.

This warranty does not apply to any failure caused by:

Physical abuse of the equipment or any component including, but not limited to, any act of vandalism by any person other than Trust IT, it’s employees, agents, or subcontractors,
Any alteration, modification, addition, or repair made during the warranty period by anyone other than Trust IT, it’s employees, agents, or subcontractors
Any accident or damage resulting from fire, water, wind, hail, lightning, earthquake, theft, nuclear reaction, or similar cause originating outside the components of the equipment and not within the control of Trust IT or caused or contributed to by the negligence of Trust IT or its employees, agents, or subcontractors, or
Damage to any component as a result of improper handling or shipment of the component by you or your employees, agents, or subcontractors.
If Trust IT determines that the equipment is not defective or that the failure arises from one of the causes identified in these paragraphs, in addition to all shipping costs, you will be charged and must pay a testing fee of $100.00+GST per hour.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy that you have against Trust IT.

This exclusive remedy will not have failed its essential purpose as long as Trust IT is willing and able to repair or replace the defective parts or refund the purchase price.

Trust IT’s maximum liability for a breach of this warranty is the purchase price of the equipment. This is your sole remedy and is in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied.

Trust IT expressly disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Trust IT is not liable for any lost profit, or indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of any breach of this warranty.
